Renowned director and producer Roomi Insha, son of popular columnist and writer Ibne Insha, passed away today. Details about his death are still unknown.
Rising to fame in 2003 with the release of his telefilm, Rumi switched from graphic designing to filmmaking.
He was applauded for his directorial work in Najiah, Mannchalay, Tair- e-Lahooti, Mohabbat Ruth Jaye Tou, Mastana Mahi and Mausam all of which were aired on Hum TV. He also directed Judaai and most recently, Rasm-E- Duniya, which appeared on ARY Digital.
