Adapted from George R.R Martin's best-selling, epic medieval fantasy series, ‘A song of fire and ice', Game of thrones was first adapted into a television series all the way back in 2011 by creators, David Benioff, and D.B Weiss.

Now, seven years later the show is not only one of TV's most-watched shows but also the most pirated television series to date, with numerous accolades to its credit.

So what exactly has audiences hooked to one of the most violent shows ever produced with over 150,600 on screen deaths from all sorts of bizarre practices, ranging from decapitation, stabbing, burning alive and even animal attacks? Or more importantly why aren’t audiences even remotely offended by the senseless objectification and exploitation of women and intense (often completely irrelevant and wholly excessive) sex and nudity frequently offered by the show…

The answer is, despite the shows unorthodox nature and gruesomeness, it’s a visual treat, and there simply hasn’t been anything this unique or intricate on television ever before, so here are all the reasons why you should binge-watch it, starting, right now!
